About Feral Fever

Mission Statement

Feral Fever exists to celebrate the full, unapologetic spectrum of human expression. Through burlesque performance, we champion body positivity, artistic courage, and the radical joy of taking up space. We create shows that are bold, beautiful, and alive — where every body is a revelation, every act is resistance, and every sequin is a declaration that we are still here.

How we work

Our shows pull from neo and classical burlesque, original storytelling, ensemble theater, and variety acts of all types. Past productions have danced to live music; today we welcome amateur and professional performers alike — anyone who wants to share joy and community on our stage.

We build shows the way you'd build a set list: bits that earn their place, a shape that carries you through, and room for the thing you didn't plan.

Who we are

Feral Fever performers

Some things are meant to be contained. We are not one of them.

Feral Fever is a burlesque performance collective built on the belief that desire, artistry, humor, and self-expression belong to everyone — and that the fight to protect that belief is inseparable from the art itself.

Burlesque has always been political. From its roots as working-class satire to its revival as a reclamation of bodily autonomy, the art form has never just been entertainment — it's been defiance dressed in rhinestones. We carry that tradition forward with pride. Every performance we give is an act of joy, and joy, in the world we're living in, is an act of resistance.

We are dancers, storytellers, comedians, and provocateurs. We come from different backgrounds, different bodies, and different visions of what beauty looks like — and that diversity isn't incidental to what we do. It is what we do. Our shows blend theatrical craft with genuine vulnerability, sharp humor with moments that catch you completely off guard. We want audiences to laugh, to gasp, to feel seen, and to leave a little more alive than when they walked in.

What we stand for

At our core, Feral Fever stands for a few things we will not compromise on:

The Right to Exist.
In whatever form brings you the most joy. Whatever body you live in, whatever identity you carry, whatever version of yourself you're still becoming — you belong here, and we will fight for your right to be exactly that.
Radical Inclusivity.
Every body is a stage-worthy body. Full stop.
Artistic Integrity.
Burlesque is art. We treat it that way — with creativity, intention, and the kind of commitment that turns a striptease into a story.
Joy as Resistance.
Pleasure, silliness, sensuality, and spectacle are not frivolous. In a world that wants to police who we are and how we take up space, choosing joy is a political act. We choose it loudly, and on purpose.
Community Over Competition.
We lift each other up — our performers, our fellow troupes, and the broader burlesque world — without reservation.
